'Production roles'

D.O.P- Director of photography
A director of photography is someone who supervises the filming of movies, commercials, television series, or any other sort of filmed production. The director of photography is responsible for the look and feel of the film. There are three things that you need to become a director of photography which is training, experience and a good eye. People that are interested in these roles all go to film school.

Producer
A producer is someone who creates ideas for a film or a televison show. They are basically incharged of the whole film making process. They are also responsible for managing the finances and they are involved through out the making of the movie.

Editor
The editors role is to esemble and organise the shots of the film. Once the film is finished it's up to them to put each of the shots together in the final process of the film making. Editing is one of the most important parts of the film making process.

Cinematographer
Cinematography comes from the Ancient Greek and means writing with motion. During the filming process the cinematographer and d.o.p work close together to get the right shot.

Composer
The composer is incharged of the music in the fim. They chose a type of music for the movie aswell as working with sound to show the audience that something surprising is going to happen etc.
